2007-2008 Middle School Schedule

·        July 29th—30th (Sunday-Monday) — Middle School to Point Mallard.  Turn in your medical waiver and $20.00 by this Wednesday, July 25th.  Modest one-piece swimwear.  Spend the night @ host homes on 29th.

·        August 18^th (Saturday) – Awakening 2007 Worship Rally, Rogersville Park. 3-9 pm

·        August 25^th (Saturday) – Ministry @ Hispanic Mission church in Athens, BBC/VBS.

·        September 19^th-23^rd  – GIC

·        September 21^st (Saturday) – Frisbee Golf at Athens Sportsplex. Missionary speaker at 11 am at Church.  Frisbee Golf after lunch until 3 pm.

·        October 19^th (Friday) – Lock-In after Football Games starting at 10 pm.  Ends at 6 AM Saturday.  Games including widow and capture the flag. Play Station Games and food. Everyone must bring a six pack of their favorite canned drink.

·        October 27^th (Saturday) – Casting Crowns concert at VBCC.  Cost - $30.00/person.

·        November 12th (Monday) – Ministry at Decatur Rescue Mission.  Sort clothes, clean, etc… Leave church at 8:30 am.

·        November 21^st (Wednesday night) – Christmas Shoe Boxes ministry in Decatur.  Leave church at 5:15 pm. 

·        December 12^th – MS Christmas Party in Trailers. 

·        December 19^th –MS to Convalescent Center.  Each Sunday School Class is responsible for two gift bags to give to patients.

·        December 26^th – 29^th – Resolved Student Conference in Pigeon Forge, TN. (Special Guests: Jamie Ragle and worship by Rush Of Fools & Heath Butler).  Morning sessions - Pastor Tim. 

·        January 21^st (Monday) – Serve meals at Huntsville rescue mission.  Leave from church at 10 am.  Dress- Nothing tight or revealing.

·        January 2^nd – February 6^th (Wednesdays) – Discipleship Classes in trailers.

·        February 10^th -13^th  – Bible Conference

·        February 24^th - After Evening service; BYOB (Bring your own banana) Ice Cream Banana Splits and play the Widow game.  Ends at 10 pm.

·        March 7-8^th – Dare To Share Conference in Atlanta, GA.

·        March 21-23^rd – Worthy is The Lamb.

·        April 25th (Friday night) – Facing The Giants Movie ministry @ Anderson School.

·        May 7th (Wednesday night) – Ultimate Debate Championships – Upper Room.

·        May 18th (Sunday) – Recognize Graduating Seniors.

·        June 4, 11^th – Class Dismissed.  Outside Games, Cookouts

·        Summer - MS mission trip

·        July 16, 23^rd – Class Dismissed.  Outside Games, Cookouts

·        September 8^th (Friday - Saturday) – DNOW Cost $35.00/person
