CHILDREN'S CHOIR

Sunday Afternoon 4:45 pm
The Children's Choir presents special music at different worship services throughout the year.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL (VBS)

Every Summer (one week)
VBS is held at Clements Baptist Church every summer for one week. Bible study, mission study, and activities are featured for children starting Kindergarten through starting Sixth Grade

CHILDREN'S CAMP

Every Year During July (three days)
Children's camp is for boys and girls First through Sixth grades. We go to Camp Helen for a two night stay over and have Bible study, crafts, recreation, worship, and lots and lots of fun.

      At the Children's Department we strive to make each child feel welcome, show them love, and make them feel accepted as they grow in the knowledge and grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

     The GOAL of the Children's Ministry is to minister to boys and girls on Sunday as well as throughout the week. In order for us to accomplish this goal children need to attend Sunday School regularly. Consistent attendance will allow teachers to build relationships with the children and will allow the children to build relationships with their classmates. All the other events in the Children's Ministry are also important for the spiritual growth of each child.

Proverbs 22:6 "Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it."

     Our PURPOSE is to lay the foundation for each child to come to know Jesus as Lord and Savior as the Holy Spirit convicts and then to train them to serve God.

Children's Ministries:

SUNDAY

Bible Study
There are Sunday School Bible study classes for children in the First through the Sixth grades. This organization serves as the foundation of the Children's Department as it seeks to reach, teach, and to win boys and girls for Christ.

Morning Worship
Boys and Girls have the opportunity to worship and praise the Lord with their family and friends during our morning worship hour.

Evening Worship
Sunday night worship time is a very important time for our children as they have the opportunity to attend worship with their family. They learn by observing the parent's example.

WEDNESDAY

AWANA 6:30-8:00pm
AWANA (Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed) is a children's ministry which includes Bible Handbook Time―children earn awards by memorizing scripture; Game Time―Olympic type team games around a special AWANA circle; Council Time―songs, Bible stories, gospel message, and presentation of awards.
